How to create a custom group in Compass+

Follow the below steps to create a custom group in Compass+

Instructions

Log into Compass+ with your user credentials. These will be the same credentials you use to log into your Compass or Schools Hub account.

2. Select ‘Plans’ from the left hand navigation pane and then ‘Manage Groups’ from the drop down menu

3. Select ‘Create a new group’ on the top right of the next screen to create a custom group of pupils for an activity.

4. Fill in the key details for your group, including the group name, code and pupils. The group code is simply a collection of numbers and letters that will help you to quickly find it in when planning an activity. See the example below.

You’ll also have the opportunity to edit your selection should you want to add or remove any pupils/groups you’ve added.

5. Once you’ve finished click ‘Save’ and your new group will now be created. If you search for it by group code or name it should appear in the list. You will now be able to use this group whenever you’re planning an activity.
