Recording the impact of COVID-19

We have made changes in Evaluations and Plans to help you record the impact of COVID-19 on your evaluation score and Careers Activity Plan.

Evaluations

When you next take an evaluation, you will see 4 new questions before you reach the Benchmark 1 section.

These questions will show whether you start a new evaluation, or update an existing evaluation. They will also show for Schools and Special Schools.

After answering these questions, you can proceed to fill out the rest evaluation as normal.

Evaluation Results Page

Once you have completed an evaluation with these COVID-19 questions, you can see the answers in the Evaluation Results page.

Plans

In the Plans tool, you can mark individual activities as cancelled and select the reason why. This information will also show if you export your Plan into an excel.

You can do this for activities in previous years’ plans, current year’s plans and future year’s plans. You can set planned or completed activities as cancelled, and use the preset reasons for cancellation or set your own.

Step 1 – expand the planned or completed activity you want to mark as cancelled, and select “Mark as cancelled”

 

 Step 2 – Choose the reason for cancellation. You can use one of the preset reasons, or add your own using the “Other” option. Then, select “Mark Cancelled”

 

Step 3 – the cancelled activity will now have moved to the new Cancelled Activities tab, and will include the reason for the cancellation

Step 4 – when you export your Plan into excel you will see this information included
